An Irish Policeman hit hard by economic collapse
Denis Linehan started out in the Irish police service, An Garda Siochana in 2005 and quickly got noticed for his sharp questioning skills and was assigned to a drugs unit. It was here that he really began to understand the value of knowing what questions to ask, when and how.
It was shortly after the GFC hit in 2008 that the Irish economy collapsed which sent house prices spiralling through the floor. Along with this, wages were slashed and mortgage interest rates began to rise. Like many others in Ireland at that time, Denis found himself in a position where he could no longer afford to pay his mortgage or his bills. Eventually he was forced to sell his house at a massive loss along with his car and everything else of value to him.
The biggest decision of his life
In 2012, left with nothing, Denis had to move back home. Faced with ever-deteriorating working conditions, an increasing supply of lacklustre leadership within his job and burdened with ever-increasing debt, he knew he had to make a decision… Either live a life of misery and mediocrity or make a radical decision to take massive action to turn his life around. He chose the latter option.
In 2013 Denis Linehan left Ireland for Sydney in pursuit of wealth, success and the great Australian Dream. In doing so he left his family and everybody he held dear behind. He knew that in order to take the island, he first had to burn all his ships.
Banking on a career in sales with little selling skills
Denis Linehan entered into a profession he knew very little about, into an industry he knew nothing about and into a world where he was starting from nothing. The only assets which he possessed are the ones he still holds dearest to this day, his hunger, his ambition and his vision of the future.
Two days after getting off the plane in Sydney, Denis set to work for a residential building company. He worked 7-day weeks for months on end to get ahead. Consumed by sales books, sales audio and video programs and seminars, every waking moment was spent becoming the best possible sales professional in the shortest time possible. Denis knew that you become truly successful by working harder on yourself than your job and in no time at all he proved himself right.
In his first full financial year in Australia Denis earned over a quarter or a Million dollars. What is even more extraordinary is that he did this primarily on Saturday and Sunday afternoons sitting in converted garages across the sprawling suburbia of western Sydney.
The best training sales system is revealed
Denis Linehan is living proof that literally anybody can turn their lives around in only a few short years. He knows that with the right mindset, belief and determination everybody is capable of achieving extraordinary results that they may have once though impossible. It is from this understanding that Denis discovered his true passion in life, that is for helping others succeed and get ahead in life through professional sales.
Denis Linehan knew that if he could just take the information and ideas that were in his head and put them down on paper he would have a system that was not only capable of allowing others to generate massive incomes but that was most importantly simple to learn and easy to use. This is precisely what he did.
Initially trialled in different sales centres, the results were soon apparent. Using this system, one consultant was soon able to consistently outperform and replace two consultants in a centre.
Soon after Denis was asked by his company to develop a sales training program unique to their structure and organisation. The affects were immediate. New employees with no industry experience were with just 3-5 days of intense training able to produce new tenders and sign contracts within their opening weeks setting them well on their way to achieving six figure salaries.
Professional sales training leads to success
Denis Linehan believes in continual learning and self-development. He studied for and obtained his real estate licence through an eLearning course with the REINSW while working 7 day weeks in his first year in Australia.
Following on from this he studied for and obtained a Diploma in Project Management, specialising in Property Development through the Urban Development institute of Australia (UDIA).
Denis has completed several other courses since arriving in Australia, including a Development Essential Course and Real Estate Services course.
In addition to his commitment to sales excellence he is also a firm believer in self-development and believes the two disciplines should go hand in hand. He has read the books and studied the material of many of the Masters of sales and success including Earl Nightingale, Napolean Hill and Zig Ziglar to Jim Rohn, Brian Tracy and Les Brown.
